Kingdoms And Crowns

Kingdoms and crowns.
Birds fly for they are able.
Infused in horror and rapacity.
They roar like lions but never stable.
The sea is their enemy, for it cleanses.
Isolation they value, gold their vanity.
Sealed orbs, immoral hearts, vassals to their liege.
Always surrounded yet solitary.
No trust, no hope in the human flesh.
Plain yet charming, menacing words are drowned in their midsts.
They are in groups, loyal to the paper Alone.
Heard of him, Believe in him, yet, their master is unknown.
The plain sights are blinded by their desires.
For, the eye seeks what it perceives.
Aware of it all for how else can one twist the truth?
Kingdoms and crowns.
The birds fly for they are able.
Soaked in fear and greed.
They roar like lions but never stable.
Water their enemy, for it cleanses.
Walk alone, stand with many, like everyone else to the grave they must walk alone.
The sentences that fit in between.
That which appears in the dark lays hidden behind the lights.
